Let the Wind Blow unto thy Face

Today’s Topic: JS Prom

So tonight, it’s the JS Prom in my high school, and they’re doing it somewhere really nice, I think XD

I got home quarter to 5 and immediately I drove to my neighbor’s house, who’s a Senior right now in the same high school. As I expected, he’s already preparing, I was told he was taking a bath and I asked them to tell him to call me right after he finishes.

We had plans to go to the mall tomorrow but I told him we’ll put it off for some other time for I have to go earlier than planned tomorrow and I know he’ll be tired because of the prom. Before I hang up, I told him to tell his female co-officers this: I dare them to get the achievement of dancing with all of their present male CO’s. It was an achievement I had in last year’s prom.

I remember that night. After the dance floor was open, the night started to get ruined, at least for us ladies, because the music had to be stopped right when guys were starting to nervously ask the girls they liked for the first dance. Dancing was officially started around 10 pm already, if not 11. That night, I actually felt like the prettiest girl in the world.

Not all of my guy classmates asked me to dance, but my CO’s covered for that. All of my CO’s were able to ask me to dance that night, even former CO’s. I remember being approached by 3 of them at the same time, not realizing that all 3 of them were planning to ask me to dance. I just felt so lucky and happy at that time. I knew I wasn’t the best officer to have, and I wasn’t really that close to them, and I did jokingly threaten them to dance with me the day before, but still, for all of them to actually ask me to dance, it was like being a princess.

I hope those guys and all the other Seniors and Juniors dancing right now, have a good and memorable night like I did last year :)
